A thuosand “yeses” to this one! And such a beautiful image to accompany the words.
I just was thinking of you yesterday. I had saved the poem “Coromandel Fishers,” and found it in my files. The first line has the same sense as Rumi’s words: “Rise, brothers, rise; the wakening skies pray to the morning light…”

That would be M. Aurelius, of course. The Coromandel fishers poem was tucked next to Rumi in my files, so he was on my mind, too. On the other hand, Rumi could have echoed Marcus Aurelius!

Thanks Linda. I was facing some problems with my blog, still to fix it. So have been inactive for quite sometime. Your words always bring good cheer! Rumi is a favourite of mine too! I love ‘This being human is a guest house…’
